I paint exclusively in watercolour and my work at present shows a use of distance and space. I am fascinated with filling vast areas of ' space ' with emotion and atmosphere. Achieving this requires endless patience applying scores of layers of pigment but the ' patina ' that eventually emerges evokes a most wonderful feeling of peace and tranquillity. My work has been exhibited by The Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour and can be seen currently at The Spa Gallery, Tunbridge Wells, Artefact Gallery, Ardingly and Shoreham Art Gallery in Shoreham, Sussex. 

My paintings will also be exhibited in aid of Brambles Respite Care (MS Society ) at The Hawth Theatre from 21st June until 2nd July. I will be joined at this exhibition by Sussex watercolour artist Heather Withers who paints most beautiful street scenes and life studies.  All our paintings will be for sale.
