Crawley Festival

2009

20th June - 5th July 2009

Events for Saturday 4th July

MAIN STAGE

Crawley Memorial Gardens

The Festival comes to a spectacular climax on the afternoon of

Saturday 4th July when the finale event Mainstage comes to the

Memorial Gardens in the town centre.

The large covered stage and massive sound system will shine the
spotlight on some of Crawley's best local bands, dancers, performers and
musicians by giving them a unique opportunity to perform to the crowd.

There are loads of workshops featuring street dance, drama, African drumming, Irish dance, singing art, crafts and photography for everyone to come along and
have a go themselves.

Learn a new skill or develop your own creative talents ready for next year's
stage performance!

There will be exhibitions and some rather unusual street
theatre characters to add to the carnival atmosphere for those who just want
to enjoy strolling around and leaving the taking part to others.

Everyone is welcome and, best of all, entrance to the event and all of the
activities are completely free!

The event runs from midday and finishes at 5.00pm so we can all get home for
a pizza.
