"St John's Year in Colour"  A flower festival to celebrate St John’s Patronal Weekend. Come and see the beautiful floral displays in Crawley’s 13th Century Church.

Stalls galore, music and cream teas! All proceeds to St John’s Restoration.

MARK LEMON SOCIETY

St. John’s Church Hall

The society was founded in 1991, by the late Roger Bastable, to mark the 150th anniversary of Punch Magazine and as a celebration of the magazine’s co-founder and first editor, Mark Lemon, who lived in Vine Cottage in Crawley High St. From 1858 until his death in 1870. Lemon was a friend of Charles Dickens.

Do come along and join us for the evening. Bring a favourite reading (optional) All welcome.

SACRED MUSIC – RENAISSANCE TO THE PRESENT DAY

St Nicholas Church, Worth

7:30 p.m.

An exploration of sacred music from different countries and cultures, from the Renaissance period through to the present day. Featuring choral and solo music both a cappella and with organ accompaniment, from Tallis to Taverner. This will be a feast of some of the most beautiful choral works ever written.
